The first few times he made a play, I was confused? I told the wife, I think he's a second stringer? Then it hit me that he was the guy from SF we picked up to replace Smith. Damn, what a great acquisition so far. He is paying dividends yeah. GEAUX SAINTS!! Through Thick and Thin

He had a monster preseason, and is a definite starter.

I can't wait for him and Wilson to swap in and out.

when i saw the interview with him on the saints' site, i was concerned, because he didn't seem all that excited about his situation...but i guess that is to be expected...i read too much into things

We need this guy to be 100% because he'll be a big play maker for the defense.

He was what I was calling for all offseason. A surefire legit 3-4 starting OLB with experience to pair with Galette and Wilson.

I got adding Butler(knows the system), but he would have been an unknown as a full time starter.

I hate to say it and I loved Smith and thought he still brought something with his run d and pass rushing(even if it was just hurries) but him going down forced our hand and made it happen.

Yeah I'll take a starter for a 7th rounder all day every day, especially a solid one like Haralson.

Edit:
That may have been likely anyway about Smith. He was getting cut next year at that price tag(unless they cut his pay drastically again).

Hope he stays around in some form like Michael Lewis and Deuce.
