But, right now after him there is a big dropoff, and yes that includes Odell Beckham.

I've watched Beckham for 2+ years now and, while he is very good on special teams, he is below average as a WR with the ball in the air. He just doesn't have the It Factor for playing the ball in the air, adjusting, being aggressive, jockeying for position with the DB, catching at its highest point, etc. And in general he has average hands.

Pretty amazing that he was able to get over 300 total yards without the It factor

Beckham's best catch of the night was the opening kickoff.

A one hander on a 70 yard boomer.

Dumbarse that said that. Sure he's had some inexplicable drops, but that's maybe 3 or 4 over his career so far.

He went from a butterfingers to Jerry Rice. Heck of a game, if he keeps it up this will be a special year.

I mean you can bash that idea all you want, but knowing what we know now, the dude underachieved big time. We all saw the flashes last year but he was terribly inconsistent. Last night was the night he really out it all together, more so than the TCU game IMO

This is really a perfect time to post this when you want to ignore some warts.

Beckham had a great game last night and showed that he has tremendous talent.

This post would not have worked last week when he dropped three passes in a much bigger game (although he still had a productive night).
I would not have worked last year when he dropped balls in most games.

The encouraging thing about last night was that he caught a couple of down field, over the shoulder throws that he has often dropped.
If he can consistently make catches like last night in big games, then it will be time for the original poster to eat some crow.
