Unfortunately, this UAB game won't show us hardly anything of worth tonight. Don't worry about this UAB team keeping the score within 14 or so because blowing this team out isn't really Les' highest priority tonight. I'll bet that Les would rather get a chance to see the youngsters in a game that matters rather than seeing them in mop up duty.

The one thing that I need to see tonight is that Mett needs to look just as good or better than he did against TCU. In the past, crappy pass defenses did not equal good passing games for the Tigers but that needs to stop this year. Outside of that, I would rather see a few of the youngsters who have the most promise slowly replace the starters once we get just one TD ahead.

As long as Mett can keep his game at a dominant level tonight, I doubt that he needs more than 5 possessions before stepping aside. I would love to get a good look at Rivers and Jennings and this team just might need one of them to step up before this season is over.

Even though this game might never be in doubt, it could be a huge chance to get some very important difference makers some essential field time tonight. I, for one, would love to see some of the bigger bodied receivers get some serious opportunities early and often.

We do an excellent job of playing down to awful opponents, should be a good game.

I just want them not to play down to the competition. Go out a beat them and get better

If LSU plays like it normally does in games like this, the score will be 14-14 midway through the 2nd quarter and LSU will score again before the half making it 21-14.

And, we will look like crap.

We will end up winning 38-17 or something and will struggle up until the 4th quarter.

That is how games like this normally go. Everyone will be griping and complaining and all of the bloom will be off the rose from last week.

Man, I hope that things are different. I am so sick of the above scenario.

I can take all of that but just win baby win. I was there the night UAB and ole fleahop Watson Brown took us down. Time for some major payback.

That is why I posted to begin with. As long as Mett looks good, I really don't need to beat this team by more than 17 pts to feel good about it. Les might just put a lot of new faces in the mix when the game is still undecided and it might keep the score close.

As long as I see certain things, I would defend a close score tonight from the negaTigers.l
