Probably my last fishing trip of the year with teal coming up and my spawn due on Oct 2.

Pretty rough, no action on top, lockjaw after 8:30, spent most of my time listening to the sweet sound of doves being shot about 5 hrs too early

Caught 11 total, none really had any size except for 2 being half arse decent. 1 on 3/8 white spinnerbait, 9 on senko, 1 on deep swim jig.

Had to improvise a launch area this morning due to our normal spot being bushhogged.

Most of them pea shooters all day

They all look the same. I go to the same spot every Saturday and catch the same fish. I just post the pics for the hell of it.

Im about to start stackin teal up though, so there will be a change of scenery soon.

Pop, you ever fish Lake Claiborne? Our deer camp is about 5 mins from one of the launches. Been wondering if it would be worth bringing the yak.

Deacon, it looks like Lake Claiborne might definately be worth a look if you have close access. I just did a little research and apparently there are quite a few big bass tournaments out there. Google search "Lake Claiborne Ultimate Bass", that will pull threads from ultimatebass.com forum, I usually search around there for reports when I am looking at a new area.

Let me know if you head over there, its not too far from me at all.

Corney Lake would probably be a better option for a kayak. Claiborne is a deeper, more open water reservoir. Think main lake Toledo.

Every time I've fished with you we haven't caught jack. You sure you don't post the same pics every time?

The honey hole is like child's play. Fish are always biting there.
