Where would you rank Landry with All Time LSU Receivers?

I think that before last season he was ranked below Toliver and Randle (among recent receivers). I think he may rank ahead of them right now and since he may very well be the number one target all year long (and has a stable of QB's and a good OC to get him the ball), this year could be a very special season for him.

you haven't seen anything yet. just wait.........
he was, by far, the most amazing h.s. receiver that i have ever seen.

Um, I wouldn't? Jesus let the dude have a career first.

He had one great game. At this point he doesn't rank ahead of Reed, Randle, Lafell, or Byrd in my opinion. After this season, let's see.

let's wait till half way through the season at-least before we make any judgements on his all time receiver status.
Landry last season was hit or miss, if he does that again this year not sure if I would consider him one of the top receivers.

Well Laron was notorious for stone hands, he never really was good at catching the ball. He could them hard enough to make it fly out of the other guys hand. So im not sure where i would rank him.....

I still can't get that missed throw by JJ in the NC game out of my mind. What could have been...

THE GREATEST EVAR RAWR!!!!!!

My Personal Top 5 (no particular order). This is hard to do because LSU had some great receivers but this is my Top 5.
Josh Reed
Dwayne Bowe
Eric Martin
Wendell Davis
Jarvis Landry and huge list of others at 5b. Byrd, Lafell, Doucet, Tolliver, Randle, etc,...

He is way better than Toliver.
Landry isn't as physically gifted and Randle, but they both have great hands. Landry is much more physical, but Randle excelled at getting separation.

you ranked him between Toliver and Randle after like 4 games? Rueben is a beast, he also had two of the shittiest QBs in LSU history throwing to him for his entire career.

Ever hear of Michael Clayton? Devery Henderson?
Jarvis cannot be listed ahead of guys like Clayton, Devery, Lafell, Randle, Early, Craig Davis, or Skyler Green IMO right now. He was a non-factor in 2011 and had a couple of good games in 2012.
He's approaching Byrd, and is about even with Toliver, who I never saw a whole lot of greatness out of other than the UF game and Cotton Bowl in 2010.
But we've had some great receivers and Jarvis just doesn't have the body of work YET.
I have every confidence that Jarvis will make my own top 5 list look different after this year though.

one of the best all time not just recently. he ha the best hands of any. i think i would rank him right below josh reed and (i'm having a sr moment on the guy that hodson threw to all the time). by the timet this year is over, he may be LSU's best all time receiver.

That's what I LOVE so much about posting on this board. WTF is wrong with me having a personal opinion about my top 5 and why do you have to be such and A-HOLE for calling it a joke? Post yours and be frickin' done with it.
