i actually feel like a super dooooshbag, when i look at the line and i'm clearly 15-20 years older, and i'm surrounded by gaming dorks. But it has become a COD tradition, and i've come to the conclusion, maybe i'm that guy also!
Everyone is different on midnight release, some give energy drinks, some had shirts, some let you in to play it early(best buy), while waiting for midnight to hit, just depends on the location and how busy they are. All of this is based on COD releases, as they are usually the biggest.

I went to the MW3 midnight release a couple years ago (I actually thought the game would be good) it was about half and half dorks to normal people, But they gave out pizza and drinks and had a 1on1 tournamentand the winner got a free copy. All in all it wasn't bad, but they ended up shutting down that GameStop, I would have preordered my X1 at a different gamestop but for some reason all of them were out of preorders. I have a feeling best buy will just be a line of people standing outside until Midnight or later

Meh. I still like XBone better.

I always wonder about how often these things are just made up. I have a hard time believing there's that big of a difference, if there is one at all. But I'm just a layman when it comes to all the technical stuff. Either way, it comes down to games, not specs.

I went to order 2k14 to ship with my xbone and have them both show up on release day. It says estimated delivery day is the 26th though

The PS3 was also supposed to be more powerful than the 360 by a large amount and that just wasn't the case.

Well they just have a bunch of Day One editions that went up for preorder, so I doubt it would be that great of investment to buy two

Just got on Walmart(seemed like a place many people who could afford an XBone would avoid, but would carry a lot of stock) and they've got bundles still for Day One preorder. The console alone appears sold out though.

Just recently Microsoft announce there will be more Day One editions than expected so they opened up more preorders, just check GameStop, bestbuy, Walmart

Just went to Walmart.com and tried to get the bundle with an extra controller and BF4 but BF was out of stock. Guess ill try again each morning to see if that bundle is available.
