Hated by fantasy experts
Hated by fantasy players

The guy is electric. I'm not expecting much, but there is no reason why he can't be a big time player this year. He doesn't play with one bona fide WR, TE or RB and he is already the most explosive and athletic player on that roster

I think he could put up really good numbers. I'm no expecting much from him as I am with rookies like lacy but with decker behind a gaggle of receivers much better than him, I'd stick him in and see what you have. I can guarantee you decker isn't going to do shite on Thursday.

Welker really affects Decker...and Decker was already hit or miss last year (and he fits "hit or miss" better than most).

I'm curious about Austin this year because the Rams have no playmakers...he could be special.

It's week 1 though, the experts say to go with your studs.

if jordy nelson wasn't ready for wk 1 I wasn't even going to hesitate putting austin in over boldin...my other backup (josh gordon) is suspended for 2 games.

You guys not watch any Rams games last season? Chris Givens is a legit deep threat

The Rams have said Austin's main focus is special teams

I agree, but he is far from an established player.

his main focus yes, he will be in the slot everytime the rams are in a 3 + receiver set.

I'd start Decker and give Austin a week or two to see where he is. Returning kicks / punts gives him an x-factor fantasy wise, but will Bradford be looking to him on normal offensive plays? I'm starting Lance Moore over Austin in my weak WR team until he proves he can produce on the offensive side of the ball.

I would do the same thing except lance moore is a proven commodity and the second receiver for a talented saints corps.

decker is stashed behind D. Thomas and Welker, those two guys between them will rack up alot of balls. Decker had one good year and was hit or miss, and he just got bumped down a notch.

in this instance i think tavon austin is an intriguing choice. You know decker won't do shite. Tavon austin probably will not, but there is more upside.

Actually I don't think he will be "bumped" down as you will see Broncos run a lot of 3 receiver sets like Colts did. They had no problem with Wayne, Harrison, Stokely and later Wayne, Garçon, Collie.....

All 3 could see 70+ catches, 900+ yards, 7+ touchdowns

I just don't see that for a team with Jon Fox as the head coach. They certainly had a pretty big drop off from WR1 to WR2 last year (yards not TDs) and now you have welker in the mix...eeek.

the broncos are the saints this year...fantasy madness. I'm staying away. Demaryius Thomas and forehead being the obvious exceptions.
