Diablo 3 for console released today.

I got it. Much different feel than the computer version. I am just getting use to it, and I can tell it doesn't have the depth of the computer version, so it isn't quite as satisfying so far, but I've only played about 30 minutes.
I'm not a "hardcore" gamer, and I mainly play just to get my mind off shite, and I think it will definitely do that. If the computer version is coca-cola, this is diet coke.
Btw, I need to get a headset (and am open to recomendations) and would be down to join up with anyone on here some time to kill some demons.

Tell me about it. I want to here from someone who hasnt played the computer version. I loved diablo back int he day and spent countless summers playing it. I had even thought about buying a computer just to play Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2. But now that it is on console id rather shell out $60 instead of buying a new computer.

Steel Series Siberia V2s are always on sale for around $50. Pretty quality headset from what I've heard.

You may or may not like it. The grid system is gone. So it has a very different feel.

I'm intrigued by this console port. I like the idea of everything being mapped to a gamepad (successfully from what I've read) and the game supports 4 player local co-op, which the PC never did. That sounds like it could be a blast to play with a friend from the couch, sort of like Gauntlet or something.
I also heard the auction house is removed so loot has been retooled to be more forgiving and streamlined.
If I pick it up it'll be for PS4 or Xbox One.

nope, both consoles.
used to be a huge diablo 2 fan, so I figured why the hell not.
seems like this one got a fair amount of criticism, but I'll play it for a few days just to get some looting in.
controls seems to work well enough for a console port so far.

holy frick, yall. im having so much fun. on the pc version, i only played as a monk and beat it once before i got distracted by another game.
im playing through as a wizard on my way to the cathedral. i almost dont want to watch the game and just play this

ok the first time or two through, but when you up the level the chains get fricking impossible unless you get gear on the AH, at this point it also gets repetitive.

i already like it more. controller is easier and movement is sooooo much better. it's nice not having to click. just move with the stick and flick the right stick to roll
