Say ol' Les retires in three or so years and Cam has been a success at OC.

Does anyone else see him taking over the reigns?

ESPN did a piece on Les a year or so ago and he was quoted lamenting about not being able to see the world and time with his kids. I just don't see Les grinding for too much longer.

Very possible we are getting to know the new head tiger tamer.

You thought about this all by yourself?

Now I know why you are considered the smartest kid on the short bus.

Others have mentioned this same theory. It is quite possible.

Not sure if he wants to be. He's been a HC in college and the NFL. Now back to coordi ator. He may just like it that way.

Na, he will leave in three years at which point we will promote Frank Wilson to OC and then HC after Miles retires 2 yeas after that.

Really.....REALLY?Did you acually let that come out of your mouth? Les is way too young to retire, and why the hell would he go anywhere else? Next time think before you speak, or type.

Wow--one game as OC and we are already talking about Cam Cameron being the next head coach?

It seems like it is too early to dwell on such things--let's just enjoy the success we expect that Cam will bring here and keep those expectations high.

Stfu. One decent game offensively and he the man.Did anyone try and name stud. The head coach after Mett threw for almost 300 yards against a much better D; Bama. Miles ain't going nowhere

After one game where we underachieved on offense yet again? Granted not as bad as the norm, but wait and see please.

If cam is every head ball coach I will quit being an LSU fan. He's a terrible HC

If LSU's offense continues to improve as the season goes, then Cam will probably end up back in the NFL, IMO.

LSU has been down that road before with Archer. They will not repeat the same mistake again. If Les leaves/retires, they will go out and find a new head coach.

There were threads asking the exact same question about Gary Crowton during his first season.

Fo sho. Over 400 yards of offense against a pretty damn good defense is a pitiful showing all right.

It didn't take very long for Les to get him to come to Baton Rouge after he was fired from Ravens. Was almost like he wasn't interested in seeing if some other NFL team would pick him up. My guess is that he's done with the League.
