0.5 PPR.
Cobb's playing SF.
Sproles is playing Atl.

Both are projected to score around 16.

Higher ceiling? Cobb.
Higher floor? Sproles.

You can't start both?

I'd roll with Sproles if I had to choose one.

Every year I discount sproles b/c of the lack of touches, but he gets in the endzone so much, he ends up as a solid rb2.

I decided to snag him this year, but I can't decide if Cobb is be the better play.

Cobb is going against the better defense. Sproles

This...
What are your other options that have bumped these two down to the flex?

I know both teams have a lot of toys but between the two, I see Sproles getting more touches. Not only does he get his share of receptions, he gets to run the ball now with Payton back at the helm. It's a close call but I typically lean to who I feel will get the ball more when it's that close.

Does Cobb still return punts? If not Sproles has the advantage.

Sproles is a low end RB1/strong RB2 in PPR leagues. Surprised there are so many Cobb answers with how much you bros love RBs

I had some bad luck last year and wasn't going to make the playoffs. So, I traded key players for an extra 2nd & 3rd round pick this year.

Drafted last, Rodgers, Brees and C. Johnson went in the 1st.

Spiller (1st), T Rich (2nd)
Dez (2nd rd via trade), A. Johnson (3rd rd via trade)
Cobb (3rd), Sproles (4th)

Sometimes sucking one year really pays off!

Cobb will get receptions and plenty of return opportunities. Sproles will get a little of each. Cobbs wins.

If Cobb gets 7 receptions while Sproles gets 5 receptions and 6 carries.

How does Cobb actually "win"? Unless you have a magically 8 ball, that's just a blind assumption.

, Sproles went for 16.62 PPG in PPR last year.
Better than Charles, McCoy, Cobb, Spiller, Gore, Forte, Murray

17+ the year before

For some reason people are down on him because they think the Saints are gonna pound the ball with Mark fricking Ingram

Sproles is a monster in PPR formats. We're talking about PPR not Standard scoring. In PPR formats, Sproles is a first (late) or second round pick in PPR.
