I've tried to play NCAA 13 a couple of times recently, and I'm just bored to death. Now that football is in full swing I'm considering trying 14.

Thoughts?

ETA: Is there a trade in/up program for when I get the XBONE?

No it's nothing special. EA really fricked this one up. And it's not coming out on Xbox One at the moment so no trade up program

I'm not going to lie. I bought 14 and I was really upset with it at first. However, I kept playing and I started to come around. The dynasty is much better in my opinion now that recruiting is more in depth, yet quicker at the same time. I also love the coaching trees, they help bring a much needed element to the game. My biggest issue with it is the engine, I CANNOT STAAAAAAAAND the infinity engine in football.

I just got 14 and the recruiting is confusing. Am I missing something or is all you do is assign points? No pitches, no promises? I don't even see where you do anything for visits.

I didn't like '14 at all for the first few games. Pick it up and give it a little bit and I think you'll really, really like it.

Also, as far as Dynasty Mode and Recruiting goes:

It's pretty clever, really. You need to balance how many points to assign to each guy and monitor how far ahead you are with each prospect. You might be wasting points on a guy if you're way up on the 2nd team, and every one of those points is a point that you could have put into another guy.

The main thing to look at with visits is scheduling complimentary visits (having linemen visit at the same time, etc.). Overall, I think it's pretty great, though I do have some complaints.
