Hawthorne said that LSU would be penalized a 10 second run off for a lineman's helmet coming off during a play. This would in effect, end the half and deny LSU a chance to kick a field goal. After a few moments, he corrected himself and said that there will not be a 10 second run off, and there should still be 5 seconds on the clock...
