1-can you use these rigs legally in LA?

Yes.
I've caught a few on it. It's so heavy though I end up putting it down after a short while, take a break and throw something else, then go back to it.

anybody ever troll it? I think in a few weeks I am going to troll the rocks at Timbalier. I may just pull one of those on one downrigger.
