Interesting ways to cook speckled/sand trout.

Caught 150 last night. I'm going to need some new ways to eat them.

Those white trout will not freeze well so eat them first.

Indeed...white trout decreases in quality so very quickly.

If you keep the white trout extremely cold from the time you catch them until the time you bag them they will freeze just as well as any trout. I keep them iced very well even while I'm cleaning.
And if you let them keep on ice overnight they are easier to clean as are specs.
That said with that many have a big fish fry and invite the neighbors. Tell them to bring the beer and it's win win.
