Well I planted today. Hoping it wasn't too early. If they die, oh well, I'm out about five bucks

Mines been in the ground for a couple weeks. I haven't planted any greens, lettuce or carrots yet. Still have a few rows of peppers, beans, okra and cucumbers producing.

Starting to think I planted too soon. Just went to check on the plants and they look pretty bad. 94 degrees is taking it's toll on them

My winter crops are getting leggy. Bugs are my biggest issue right now.

What kind of a southern boy doesn't eat greens?!

I like a 50/50 mix of turnip and collards, fried in olive oil, a spoonful of bacon grease, a squirt of honey, salt, pepper and a dash of garlic powder.

Guess you boys don't sop the potlikker with bread?
