Game freezing. Is this a ps3 problem or NCAA?

I played through two and a half complete seasons of my dynasty without NCAA 2014 freezing once. The reason I may believe it's a ps3 issue is bc some damn kids have been using my ps3 to watch movies and 2 nights in a row kept it on all night long.
Since then my games have froze 3-4 times. Reason it may be an NCAA thing is bc all times but once it has been after my game is over with they are showing the highlights. It really sucks to have a kick arse game and then it freeze after its over before it is saved.
Anybody else have these issues. I'm not in an online dynasty btw...i

Yes ps3 is pretty old. It's the big model.

For what it's worth I think you got lucky in your first couple seasons. I bought NCAA 14 right when it came out and returned it in two days because it froze so much. I read forums online and apparently only the PS3 version had a lot of running errors. Not really sure why but I think it's the game and not your system

Every EA sports game I've ever had on this gen has froze up. That's with the fat ps3 and the slim. TIFWIW
Just to add, I rarely have freezing issues with other games. Can only think of Heavy Rain off the top of my head

I haven't played anything else since it started freezing to know. Just found it odd that I get through 3 1/2 (not 2 1/2 like I said in my OP) with not one freeze and then all of a sudden it happens once every 3-4 games. That leads me to believe it's the PS3.
But it leads me to believe it is a game issue because the freezing always happens at the same point after the game.
