Panties. I had a big collection going 'til my last GF found it. Had to start over so I only have a few trophies so far.

I have an El Cazador coin. Came in a box that is probably worth more than the coin.

We collect Civil War Prints. Don Troiani is my favorite. Bought "Southern Steel" in 80's for 90 bucks. Last time I checked it was worth around 1200 bucks.

I recently started collecting baseball autographs. Have Griffey game model bat and have 11 baseballs: Mayes, Griffey, Musial, Berra, Bench, Rickey Henderson, Brock, Bonds, Cepeda, Glavine and Roberto Alomar.

Company out of Houston holds convention every June and January where you can get athletes autographs in person. That's where I got Cepeda, Alomar an Glavine.

My uncle had a home very close to the Amrrican river in the mid 80's early 90's with river access. Very beautiful area. I spent a couple of summers up there and managed to find a little gold with poor mining skills...

I want to start collecting something as a hobby. My desire is to collect something with value. It doesnt necessarily have to be an "investment" but I would like my collection to be worth something at the end of the day. I was thinking of autographs or silver bars/coins. Like I said, im not trying to get rich or "go long", just looking to get into a hobby that is worth something. In a perfect world, opportunities would exist to buy cheaper items and expensive items for said hobby. Any thoughts?

I collected sports cards as a kid. This was about 25 years ago when the number of sports cards distributors exploded. I still have them all but I doubt they are worth much more than I paid for them. I should have done autographs or gold coins!

I know a guy with a massive collection of Civil War relics. He literally has an entire room filled, with much of it on display, and all labelled and some with descriptions, with lots more in storage - like a mini-museum. Him and his father collected most of them from private property, with the landowner's permission of course, and much of that came from digging out old privies. Its probably worth quite a bit of money. I doubt he will ever sell it though, he'll probably either pass it down to his children or donate it to a museum.

You may have a fake one there. Willie knew how to spell his name.

guns, ammo, silver and now my fist gold coin. On my last order of silver, I decided to order a 1/4oz Maple.
