the QB doesn't have to be great... and it certainly looks like Mett and the receivers will be more than capable of putting a good enough of an offense together that we will be in every game... now what happens on defense will be interesting.

No, you read we sucked at run blocking from Ace/I formation/jumbo sets. Which we pretty much did all night.

In pass blocking especially. After watching the replay I actually think Hawkins may turn out to be the best at pass blocking between he and Collins.
In terms of being best overall, Collins still gets my vote. He is really dominant and nasty as a run blocker, while still having great talent in pass pro.
Hawkins will no doubt continue to improve in run blocking, but as far as I saw this weekend, LSU has the best pair of OT's in CFB!!

Is it rare that an O Lineman plays every down?? Sounds pretty rare to me..

I have to admit, when I saw this, I thought of CR and him pushing his decision back to tomorrow. Whether or not it effects his decision, I'm glad that he had a chance to see LSU's offense and Cristobal's o-line. Unless he is simply bound and determined to follow Cam Sims, LSU would be a better fit.

Not rare at all, you are expected to play every down as an OL short of a blowout when the 2nd team OL would get some work. That, or you get hurt.
OL works much better as a unit, that's why you dont see guys rotate in there.
