Looking at the breakdown of AP voters on the preseason polls. This idiot Guilbeau had Georgia no 1. He had a real Clemson team at 14 and Boise St at 21. Not to mention Florida St at 3. Guy is an idiot pretending to be a genius.

Agree. Though he may indeed be inept, he also has found that the role of antagonist as opposed to cheerleader generates more interest in his drivel.

I think if you are gonna be the beat writer, at least talk about the positives of the program along with the criticisms. If it were up to Guilbeau the sky would be falling and random people all over campus are either getting knocked out by Jeremy Hill or smoking weed with the Honey Badger.

If you put a stick into a pile of cow crap and move it around you get a lot more smell and cover more distance. I think it is his job to keep moving the stick around. I always heard that if you keep stirring the crap sooner or later you going to get some on yourself!!

GG is the most brilliant writer ever.
Not because he spins prose like Cormac McCarthy but because he spins you fools around in circles and you keep reading, responding, and generating advertising dollars for his bosses.
Imagine an ad agent going out trying to sell. "Well here, our LSU writer generates this many hits and all of these page views every time he publishes. Don't you want to have an ad that touches that many people?"
Sold.

The thing that upsets me is he drums up about all the talent that went to the NFL as a reason LSU will struggle. Yet he puts Georgia number 1 and they lost a ton of key guys on defense not to mention haven't won an SEC title since '05 or a NC since what '82?
Every top SEC team lost key personnel, but he gives the Tigers the least amount of respect.

Basing preseason rankings on the perception of a team's schedule is complete and utter horseshite. This isn't purely a criticism of Guilbeau, as much as a generalized point.

That's not a brilliant writer. Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd are the biggest POS ever because they have to make attention to sell themselves. They aren't good enough at what they do like Scott Van Pelt
