Let's see...

More wins in the last 8 years than ANY coach (including Saban) with the only one ahead of him being Peterson from Boise.

Higher winning percentage of ANY LSU coach ever.

42 straight non conference wins.

2 SEC championships

Played in 2 national championship games

Maybe the best college football regular season EVER (12-0 in 2011)

One National Championship

Yeah...that guy's an idiot! He couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag! Let's fire him....

I wouldn't bother. If there's one thing I learned yesterday, it is that there is no pleasing a part of this fan base. Nothing any coach not named Saban can do will ever win their approval.

They live in a perpetual time warp where it's always 2003.

Guess the bowl game against Clemson last year doesn't count against nonconference games since it is a bowl game? Correctamundo?

I'm just amazed at idiots who would actually fire this guy. Or who literally believe they could coach better than him because they played high school football or something.

Look, we all know he has some weaknesses, makes some mistakes. But the overall is Phenomenally good!

Here's a thought. Since so many of the negatardoes love Saban so much and since Saban ain't leaving Bama except in a pine box, why doesn't LSU hire the coach that has the most wins against Saban's Alabama teams?

Think that would shut the retards up?

I agree here. LSU fans are spoiled rotten. I would like anyone of them to give me the name of the coach they would rather have.

Miles is a very good executive, overseeing an exceptional program and getting the right people on his staff (with a couple of glaring exceptions), and a top 3 recruiter among current head coaches, imo. But he is a terrible offensive coordinator (based off of his supposed influence on our offense post Jimbo Fisher) and in-game manager. The latter is what all we see when we watch games, so it is hard not to get really frustrated with the guy. Other coaches are far better coordinators and in-game managers but not as good at the behind the scenes stuff. Urban Meyer and Nick Saban might be the only 2 that are simply great at all aspects currently coaching college football. I would be a much, much happier man if Les remained head coach but simply gave up any say whatsoever during the actual game.
