My takeaway LSU: offense has a chance to be really good if the OLine stays healthy. Must develop some inside pass game (TE/RB) to help WRs

I was a little disappointed not to see Travis Dickson make an impact In fact other than the dropped TD pass to DeSean Smith, I don't recall any passes thrown to a TE. The absence of a big target was a major factor last night.

I thought they said Dickson didn't play. I liked seeing DeSean out there so much, coaches apparently have high expectations for him.

Yeah, I was excited thinking that our TE's would no longer just be a 6th OL this year...but they were only targeted once.

We tried the screen a few times, but TCU read them like a open book. I think this is why it is great we are playing some friendlier competition the next few weeks to hone these little things.

Would've been hard for Dickson to make a difference...since he didn't play.

It was known in advance that Travis Dickson was unavailable for the game, so no need to be disappointed in that regard.

Did not play presumably due to injury.

Until Les gets rid of the "keep the game close" mentality, the Tigers would be unstoppable.

I predict Dickson will make an impact when he gets into a game

We took what they gave us. It's hard to show the inside passing when the parameter was WIDE arse open all night. Every screen we tried was sniffed out.

Thanks for the analysis Mr Blackledge.

Per The Advocate this morning... Tahj Jones did not make the trip due to injury. Expected back next week.

Looked to me like TCU played tight coverage underneath all night and made it hard for the TEs and RBs to get separation. They left the WRs in man with minimal safety help and Mett made the right reads.

It was inexcusable for Miles to tell the special teams to give up a KO for a touchdown, and then to tell Blue to fumble on our own six. I'll never understand why he does things like that.

I thought Qantavious Leslie was the second coming of Corderelle Patterson, obviously not?

Mett passed well. Landry = beast! Others wr need to step it up 8-10 drop passes. Cam Cameron B+
