You must be watching a different game. Run blocking is horrible. You think LSU will run the gauntlet in the SEC with bad run blocking?

We ran for more yards against TCU than any team in the past 2 year except AIR FORCE(a run only team) who only ran for 249.

As a matter of fact since 2007 only 3 teams ran for more yardage against them than we did(AIR FORCE, a run only team, did it twice 229, 249)

West Monroe banks know Robinson is almost a 1st round lock no matter where he goes. It's not unreasonable for them to get a loan based on that

Actually, I think there was more to pushing it back to Wednesday than just ESPN. Even if it WAS just ESPN, the impact is still the same: it gave CR a chance to see Cristobal's o-line in a game and Cam Cameron's offense for LSU.

Offensively, LSU played much better than Bama, and against a better defense. I see Bama losing at least 2 games this year.

Well you must be an idiot. If I was running a bank I wouldn't definitely take a small risk if it meant a future 1st rounder might keep an account with the bank. Think about how much money he could potentially make. It's easily worth the risk.

Sound reasoning .....

Forget about ACL's and MCL's and other injuries that could end anybodies carreer.

A small risk for a 20k loan that has to be repaid regardless. Maybe his dad has the money anyways.

Players families get loans like this all the time. It's definitely worth the risk considering the potential. Hell they give out 200K loans to restaurants and the majority are closed in 5 years. I never said bankers make great decisions. These risks are smaller compared to others they take

Business loans are often backed by SBA.

20K loan or not ....the reward of the interest does not out weigh the potential loss.

Bottom line banks won't loan a high school kid strictly on the hope that he plays pro ball.

Not always.

Maybe to you. A 20K loan for the chance that it could increase goodwill between them and maybe CRob would end up keeping his NFL money in a bank he trusts. Even backups make 250K plus per year/

They do all the time. You're overlooking one major thing. Maybe his dad has the money is just rewarding him for his success.

Collins was a beast tonight. Their lb play was very good and chunky hunter played very well. Passing game was excellent on downs where they knew we had to pass. Running game was solid against I a good D line. CR realizes how special the next two classes will be. If he still, wants out, we have the replacements. Have a feeling he puts on the Lsu hat.

And this is the reason you're NOT running a bank.
