Gone but never forgotten.

Miss ya Dad. Its been almost two years and not a day goes by with out a thought.

Will be thinking of all the games we watched together or at least talked about. Tonight will be no different cause i know you are watching.

my mom... almost 8 months now. She loved the pageantry and excitement of football and loved the Tigers. We lived overseas for a time and would record the games to watch at a more "normal" time. She would always call and tease us with, "Did you see that GAME??"

I miss her emails with the countdown to the football season opener-- I'm sure she's got the best seat in the house.

I went to so many LSU games with my dad. He was taken too early at 50 but I always think of him during sporting events.

Wouldn't love LSU hoops without him.

Amen to that...I am just happy before my mom passed away she got to see two things I never thought would of happened when I was a kid...LSU winning the title in football, twice! And the saints winning a effing superbowl.

exactly... her favorite joke was the one about the Cajuns in hell who didn't mind the heat, then celebrated when the devil turned on the A/C. "Hell has frozen over, so that mean the Saints won the Super Bowl!"

My dad passed this last Memorial Day. Obviously, it is impossible to have an opening day without thinking of him - this, the first season he will miss.

Yep here's to you, pa.

My grandfather died in 2001 and never got to see A championship. Started going to the games in the early 60's and had season tickets ever since. He would've passed out if he saw the stadium and what we have done the last 10 years.

The doctor told him he was going to die of cancer and he answers like an absolute boss... "do I have enough time to renew my tickets?"

They don't make 'em like that anymore.

RIP

Three years now without Daddy...miss him every day. He would always laugh at me and Mom when we were wringing our hands in the first half. He'd tell us, "LSU is a second half team." would give anything to hear that again.
