Good. He was terrible and didn't deserve to take a roster spot on that team from somebody who could contribute.

No, it really isn't.

Your perception is not reality, and quite frankly, it's insulting to the guys who are also hard workers, etc.

I know people talk about him playing another position. Think he could do change positions at an NFL level? Would like to see him playing as a TE or H-back.

In other way more important news

quote:

The Patriots will carry Rob Gronkowski on their 53-man active roster to open the season. Rehabbing from four forearm surgeries and another back surgery, Gronkowski hasn't practiced with the team yet. But the decision to keep him off reserve/PUP means his rehab is moving along swimmingly. It's also confirmation that the Patriots expect Gronkowski to play at some point before Week 6 -- possibly as soon as Week 3. A true difference-maker anytime he's on the field, Gronk is well worth a third- or fourth-round fantasy pick. Slick owners can handcuff him with Zach Sudfeld in the late rounds.

Terrell Owens was a hard worker too.

^Gronk coming back might have helped them make the decision. Not worth keeping 3 QBs on the roster. Especially when one is a long tterm project and Mallet hasnt yet turned out to be the tade-bait they were hoping for.

Look up Mathew Slater please. Guy works just as hard as Tebow, is very heavily involved in the community, and I believe is a team captain as a pure special teamer.

This is the end for Tebow.

Still say that 2011 run he had with Denver is the craziest thing I've ever seen happen in sports.

Agreed. It would have been stupid to keep him based on his performance. You can't trust him to play QB for you in a regular season game.

Having said that, I feel for him. He busted his arse trying to make this work and has been a stand up guy through a lot of crap.

I'm sure he'll be fine. Guys like Tebow find ways to win in life.

Whether you like him or not, the guy showed class in every situation he was placed in. Never blamed anyone he just went out and tried to be a better player and teammate. Rare in todays sports world.

Gronk had no effect on Tebows roster chances (which were close to 0). Gronk not on thr PUP is the reason Jake Ballard and Daniel Fells got cut, not Tebow

And you continue to prove my point by posting an outlier.

LOADS of players are hard workers and good teammates. There is not need to single out ONE GUY for those traits.

Mathew Slater

Was never under such scrutiny and plastered in the media day after day as Tebow was. Slater ability was never doubted. Wrong example given here.
