Egyptian Christian Leader: 'Shame on Obama'

quote:

An Egyptian Christian leader is calling out President Barack Obama and his administration for not doing enough in face of intense persecution against the Church by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Following the recent barrage of church burnings, Father Rafic Greiche, the chief spokesman for the Catholic Church in Egypt, criticized President Obama for not speaking out against the worst violence against Egyptian Christians in nearly 700 years.

"President Obama when he made a speech he just touched on the burning churches instead of telling the Muslim Brotherhood that they are terrorists and they are making terror on Egypt," Greiche said. "He did not speak loud for this and shame on him if he is a Christian that he does not speak out loud."

"The spokesman of the White House who…was asked 'What is the red line for the Christians in Egypt?' he mocked and said, 'I didn't bring my red pen," he noted.

"So I think it was a mockery and not at its place and really shame on him also," he said.

What does he want Obama to do? Why doesn't he call on General Al-Sisi to protect them?

I believe his message is that he would like Obama to recognize and speak out against the persecution of Christians in Egypt.

Speak out and condemn the attacks, stop pouring billions of dollars to the Muslim Brotherhood? Stop supporting Syrian Rebels who are wiping Christians out in Syria as well? There's a few things he could do. If he was an honorable man. But we all know he's not, so few expect him to do anything except to continue supporting terrorism against Christians and U.S. citizens.

yawn.

Here's a thought, take religion of the table entirely. It doesn't matter who is dying. It matters that people are dying.

I say shame on the Christians who voted for obama and reelected him for whatever reasons. One good reason for not electing him was abortion. The other was his open friendliness with radical muslims. As we see he wants the muslim brotherhood to rule in those eastern countries. So killing Christians to him is great.

I agree shame on obama and worse shame on us for electing him. We cant say we didnt know it was there for everyone to see, we simply chose to ignore it.

Please provide the link from one of these news sources where it says that Obama sent billions to the Brotherhood.

As for the other things you recommended, how does Obama's words help Egypt's Christians and what do Syria's rebels have to do with them?

Yawn

Yes why should anybody be concerned because someone is killed simply because of what they believe. I imagine you would feel the same way with homosexuals who are killed simply because they are gay right?

yup.

A death of a human before his time is the terrible...for whatever reason.

People like you who try to use the death to advance your message are as bad as the killers.

Hyperbole like this listed above is one of the main reasons why no one should ever take any of your post serious.
