Mannings is awful. Food is marginal and service is terrible. Better choice is Walk ons or cooter browns.

I also agree that walk ons is a better option.

Nothing says "Wedding Anniversary" like Cooter Browns.

I will be down in New Orleans for the Florida weekend. I need a good spot in the French Quarter? Anything?

I thought Mannings was clean, no trash, good service, TVs everywhere...My friend bartends at Warehouse Grille it has a HUGE patio, good food, 40+ beers...

The Bulldog is an awesome sports bar, but not the most romantic. You can try Cafe Adelaide at the Loews Hotel. It's a Brennan's restaurant, and the bar is cool. Or go to Nola's and eat at the bar. There is a big screen tv you can see from the bar but not from the dining room. That's a winner. Try that.

Mannings menu is very small and the food is average at best. But it kicks arse if you just want to drink amd watch the game on the big screen. Walk-On's is solid. Plus Happys is right next door

Ill be at Lucy's watching the game outside on the projector

Borgne in the Hyatt. Really nice bar that will have the game on. John Besh place so the food is good

Monkey Hill Bar - great cocktails & barfood, or celebrate the occasion & order from the restaurant menu (Grille by the Hill)

Did not know that JB had a restaurant in the Hyatt.

Since it's called Borgne, I'm assuming it's pretty much local seafood?

Gotta make a note of this one. Never been disappoint on any dish he's slung.

Great suggestion, Oyster BLT is crazy good. They also do a stuffed whole fish, usually flounder or pompano that is also really good. Also and most importantly good selection of extremely cold beer.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner
Try to eat early at the bar and watch a little of the game. Then head to the 3rd floor to their upscale sports bar called Vitascope. You can get great cocktails, etc at the main bar or sit in your own booth with TV's, etc.

Mannings sucks. The service is not good and they may not have the LSU game where you can see it.
