Agree. He wants to go to Bama. He most likely has already made his mind up to go to Bama. So ready for this to be over.

Think you're wrong there. Scouts are saying he's one of the best tackles to come out of HS in a decade. If he wasn't coming to LSU, cool. But combine that with him going to a team we play every year? Its a real hit..but we have the talent in the state, and on our board to make up for it in other positions.

Locally it seems opinion is pretty much like this board - all over the map. They're playing pretty close to the vest on the decision & nobody I'd call significant knows the truth. Cam may or may not have his mind made up & even if he does, he may change. He seems like a great kid & one I'd love to see @ LSU but in the end, gotta be his call. Most of us (locally) feel he'd be most happy in the more "family" LSU atmosphere but we also try to understand the pressures exerted on top recruits from many sources.

Again....I want the dude. But, it is not like LSU will have an empty "spot" on the OL. Another quality dude will fill the slot.
I'm saying that the difference between NC or not is not likely to be that Cam Rob is not there.
Just my opinion. But, no one will ever blame the "lack of rings" on the fact that Cam Rob isn't there.

You do know that having a viable back-up at LT last year could have got us a national championship, right?
We beat Florida if we have a true LT, and dont have to shuffle around our offensive line. Who knows, one less pass rush/QB hurry in the Alabama game could of won us the game too.
