I love meat stuffed grape leaves and chicken shawarma!

I want to try new items. What do you suggest?

I like more traditional straight-up greek food. give me a lamb chop with grape leaves and spanakopita and I'm in heaven.

Traditional dolmas trump the hell out of the microwaved stuff you are referring to.

One cuisine that I really don't care for, so a good gyro or Greek salad is all I've got.

Falafel plate with hummus and baba ganoush. Put falafel and fixings in a pita and enjoy.

Fried kibbeh/kibbi/ etc.., is my ultimate fave followed by spanakopita, hummus, baba ganoush, fried haloumi and any other eggplant dishes.

Impossible for me to answer. Greek is my favorite type of food and then on top of that I love everything equally. Definitely, try the lamb shanks, mousaka, any pastas you see, maybe the fish, obviously the salads(if you find a place that serves an array of olives you are on), and the dips: hummus, baba ganoush(sp?), and Grecian. Obviously the chicken and gyro are good as well. Ohhhh and kibbi and the cheese appetizer, houlam I believe.

Grilled lamb with hummus and also chicken schwarma. I've never been a fan of stuffed grape leaves.

Was coming here to say this.

I've only had it at Zaytinya in DC, do you know any good spots in NO that serve it?

Lamb Shank and Raw Kibbeh (sp?)

Or if you want to do something at home, marinate some prime beef filet (cubed) in lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, parsley and salt and pepper for three days. Grill some of it shish kebab style or just eat raw out of the marinating pan.

You're welcome.
