you're an idiot if you think being ranked 12 isn't a strategic advantage, quit whining, 12 is plenty high enough to start off and even if we lose 1 game we'll still be in the title game

LSU could literally start off the season unranked and it does not preclude them for playing for the national title because they are in the SEC.
Handle your business and the rest takes care of itself.
That said, I think being ranked #12 is actually pretty high considering what was lost off of last year's team...especially the way the team limped through the end of the year after the Bama game.

They are ranked about right with all of the question marks.
This year could really be one to remember. I kind of like laying back in the tall weeds.

Why are you so concerned with preseason rankings? The Tigers control their own destiny.
I for one think a lower ranking not only takes off some of the pressure, but forces the team to play with a chip on their shoulder.

Yes. The way we ended last season and the talent we lost are two great reasons to be ranked where we are. It does not matter one bit where we are ranked right now.

I love the Rant. Where being ranked pre-season 12th is so awful.
