Where do you think I got those stats from?

Do stats take into account that 99% of that crime was in one specific area?

Ive lived here 16 years buddy and I can tell you there is virtually nothing going on here ever.

Keep citing stats though

is it not part of Nashville?

the list was about cities, as a whole, you can't pick and choose which part of the city you wish to leave out

you probably live in some boring suburb of Nashville

so wait, you're telling me one meaningless stat (nashville's very low crime vs some canadian cities lower crime) is the only reason you find this a better city?

is that seriously your entire argument after I presented about 15 things for nashville that made 'quality of life' at the top of the chart?

yep, no crime, traffic and hundreds of miles of backroads to ride my bike on. boring as shite.

I'm from there and love sticking up for it, but Nashville has it's fair share of crime. Maybe not out in the burbs where you live, but it has a decent amount. Last week look spretty busy.

I was in Vienna last month. I had zero expectations about the place. It blew me away. It's an incredible city. I wish I would have had more than a few days there. I haven't been to any of the other places.

I thought you said you lived 2 miles from the 96 Trace bridge, yet you point to Belle Meade. Get real. Belle Meade is an outlier and you know it.

i'm telling you westside is the best side.

..and i said near belle meade..further out away from town but that site didn't have bellevue.

you have to admit belle meade crime stats are CRAZY

its more 'downtown' that bellevue, leipers fork, fairview and south brentwood (think westhaven) are.

i'd argue belle meade is virtually downtown these days due to the build up further out.

When you pay the premium and the cops pull over walkers on the reg, yeah, I'd expect it to be low on violent crime.

Vancouver is an awesome city

Wife and I spent a week in Vancouver this summer. Far and away the most totally average city I have ever been to.

The area around the city is beautiful. The city itself is untoasted white bread topped with a slice of cold butter.

re: Top 10 cities in the world

frickers have cited me twice on my bicycle; once for not putting a 'foot down' at the stop signs..apparently they don't approve of bicycle track stands...and once for riding my bike in the leftmost lane on the boulevard instead of the righthand land.

keep in mind the righthand lane turns and i needed to be in the lefthand lane to go straight into percy warner park.

oh and i forgot..they also chased me down one evening for not having a light on my bicycle as it was dusk and i was racing back to my parked car.

30 miles from the border. I go to Whitehorse pretty often and find Canadians and their cities more tolerable than domestic. Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Montreal.

How is this different than Baton Rouge?

Ive lived here 16 years buddy and I can tell you there is virtually nothing going on here ever.

I have lived in BR for 36 years and I have never seen any crime either.

Keep citing stats though

So you don't like facts?
