According to the thread on the SEC Rant, they got him on the rule (paraphrasing) where he should have prevented someone else from profiting from his likeness or something like that. No proof on him protifing directly.

This is a complete embarrassment to college football. The NCAA is a laughing stock... This is honestly worse than no punishment. So he did something that warranted a half suspension... He what ? Took 50 bucks
