Excerpted from CFB bet thread - depositing to 5Dimes

Got away from my local book so looking to start with 5Dimes. However, I don't have a Visa so I can only do western union to deposit. I just have no idea how it works - can someone who deposits to 5Dimes via western union break down the process for me (both depositing and withdrawing) like I'm 8 years old?

I'm at Heritage but I do WU with them as well so I'm sure it's the same process.
They give you a name and country of who and where to send the money to. (It's going to be some crazy name in like the Phillipines or some shite like that.) You fill out the form within the allotted time frame at a local WU. You'll receive an order confirmation # and take that # and enter it into 5Dimes' website udner their deposit screen. Once they run that # and see that your money is on the way to their person then you'll see your balance.
ETA: Or what the guy under me said. But if you're doing cash then it's what I said.

How do withdrawals work VIA this method?

Yes you can send money through Western union online but the verification process is a pain in the arse (but only for the first time you send, the subsequent transfers are easy)

you sign up, then deposit methods, press credit cards, punch in amex numbers and viola. think its a 20ish dollar fee. but, they have a 50% bonus going on right now.

unfortunately, i do not know what that feels or is like.
but, i did hit a nice soccer parlay yesterday, and cards and over. so after we all crush CFB, i plan on using one of the methods.

That's fine but the WU route would provide a consistent avenue to both deposit AND withdraw funds. The prepaid card deposit only takes care of half of the problem...

Is Visa easy? I haven't used 5dimes, but a while back it was a huge pain in the arse to deposit with other sites. What is the site with the easiest deposit method?

Have deposited and withdrawn from 5d. I deposited using a Visa. Once you deposit, you do have to do a bunch of verification stuff through 5dimes before you can withdraw. Send them a copy of your license, card you used, and like a phone bill verifiying address. After that you can withdraw.
You can have 1 free withdrawal every 30 days. I think it has to be done a certain time of the day. When you request one, then put in the stuff, and you contact them 24 hours later. They tell you the name and country its coming from. You go into your local Western Union. Profit.

I would think that re-upping your account by sending to random people in random countries would raise the ire of the Gov't who are unequivocally tracking this kind of shite. I'd use a pre-paid Visa if possible but maybe I'm just paranoid
Once I had pay out issues with Bodog (called something else now), I quit cold. Looks like the process of registering and getting a payout are about the same as back then.
