Other options besides CRob at tackle?

Which direction do we go if CRob goes to Bama? Looks as though the next two guys on 247 (David Sharpe and Damien Prince) we aren't even recruiting and the next two OT's after them are already committed elsewhere. Or does one of the guys already on the team step up and play if Collins leaves after this season? Like Boutte, Pocic, Washington, or Edinburgh

I don't see why not. He was great coming out of high school and he is 6'7. Start practicing Malone or Dodd at center IMO. Incase Porter decides to leave

Clapp and Brumfield, four stars each, already committed. There will be more OLmen coming up. LSU will be fine either way. I try not to stress on the ones that get away. If recruits chose bama or any OOS school, it was probably a long shot to get them anyway. Some kids just want to leave home. However, I'd hate to be a Robinson in West Monroe if he does choose bama.

Slide Hawkins to LT and pocic to right tackle if Collins goes pro. Evan Washington could have a surprise senior year however, and Edinburgh could come out of nowhere like Hawkins has this year. We have the big bodies just need to develop them.

We have the personnel on campus right now if we needed to develop a project.

We already have the OL-men we need on campus? Okay kids, this is why you shouldn't do drugs!

That is as stupid as "we already have the QBs on campus, we'll be just fine". Then we had a QB shortage. You recruit players at EVERY position EVERY year. It's about getting depth, which you lose each year to graduation or pro departure.

I sure hope the coaching staff doesn't believe "we'll be just fine". If I were Frank Wilson, I'd be after the other OT Bama just committed. Can you imagine that kid feels if Robinson says Bama?
