I'm going with Justified. Had never heard of it until a few months ago and it's in my top shows of all time now. Others?

it's fantastic. I tried to get my parents to watch it the past few years. Finally forced them to watch the first two episodes with me, and they proceeded to watch all 4 seasons within a month.

I'm going to go with R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour. This show is the closest a kids show has gotten to the creepiness of Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
