What games would you guys consider

Must buys right now?
Note I refuse to pay for Xbox live now after having two months of issues with them and their service continuing to screw me so I am done with online because I will not pay them another cent.
I love Skyrim, Far Cry, Red Dead, Assassins Creed, Boarderlands type games. Don't have a lot of time to play anymore but I would love to know a game similar too these. I can't stand linear games or restrictive games. I want to walk around and do random shite for no reason!

I was going to say State of Decay....but that's XBL also.
Mabye GTA IV, Saints Row, Fallout, Dragon's Dogma, Dark Souls, Mass Effect....just to name a few RPGs. Not necessarily all sandbox, but fun nonetheless. I could never get in to Fallout tho

Red Dead Redemption gets all kiinds of love, with good reason, but you never hear much about Red Dead Revolver.

No. iirc it was made by a different company and wasn't too good then Rockstar purchased the IP

I honestly never get why some people have so much trouble with Microsoft. I have been a Gold member since its inception and have never had one single problem.
Back to the topic...
Good single player game recommendation would be the new Splinter Cell. I like it a lot.

That was it, it was mostly made by Capcom but then Rockstar picked up after it was in limbo and finished it.

To the problems with Microsoft. I've had live since Xbos 360 came out. But they double billed me three times, they cut off my service a few times for "non payment" yet my credit card was billed for the payment and it wasn't declined I'm very sure of that. It took them 3 weeks to get my live back while I was still paying for it. I finally just had enough. I will play single player games till I get a PS4. Then they did this new update crap and the LIVE email account was screwed up and I can't even access it now and that was the Email linked to my Xbox account. I did the account recovery quiz crap and passed, got my account back for 2 days, then it was blocked again.
So frick Xbox live. Single player only!

Was going to man but honestly I just can't deal with Xbox live anymore. Can't do it. At some point I have to say enough, unfortunately I can't just switch to another provider like phone or cable. Buying a PS3 with the releases on the PS4 coming out soon is a waste of money so I'll just stick too my rosters not being updated on sports games and single player lol.
I do need something to do though. I live in a city I know very few people in because of my job. My GF is 2 1/2 hours away in school and I am losing my mind. I may get to 100k post here by December the way this is going.
