I'm leaving at 7:30 in the morning tomorrow to go to Ft. Benning, GA for OCS/Infantry/Airborne training. I'll be gone 5 months. I will be shut away from TV. No LSU games. I'm missing the TCU game this weekend. I just want to wish the Tigers luck. Hope they crush everyone this year and take them all by "surprise".

thanks for your service, man...

ETA: you might want to make your title a little longer to keep from getting deleted...i.e. "Leaving for fort benning tomorrow" or something like that...

If you ask nicely and volunteer for everything I'll bet your DIs let you off to watch the game.

There is a former national champion Tiger finishing up Ranger training up there right now so you won't be the only Tiger. He was on the 03 team.

Worst case scenario I just read about it in the Sunday paper and when I get back I watch the games on YouTube. Looking at transferring to LSU when I get back and maybe moving to BR. I miss the atmosphere. Can't wait for this season. I definitely think it'll be something special.

What job are you going to be doing? I'm an Ensign (O-1) nurse in the navy. My training started in march. Good luck man. Hopefully the weather won't be too bad for you.

Last post before I go to sleep. I'm prior service National Guard(MS). Infantry 11Bravo. Just staying in my field. Maybe get stationed at Fort Polk (switching to active)so I can get my masters (at LSU - fingers crossed).

I'm so excited about this year. I can't wait to see how Mett matures as a quarterback. O might actually carry the D some this year. D is underrated. May take a little while for the D to start putting it all together. I look for this team to be stacked. 11-1. Hopefully winning the west which will put us in the SECCG. I'm proud of all my tiger fans. Cheer for me. Drink lots of beer.

Geaux to hell Ole Miss.
Geaux to hell Bama.

Cheers guys.
