I missed out on getting a parking pass for this season. First season commuting from NOLA.

Which free lot has the best tailgating scene and would not be full for the big games by around 7am?

All the fun ones will be full of people setting up early. Can't really have one without the other you know?

I have no problem leaving NOLA as early as it takes, what would you suggest?

Parker Collesium but you got to get there early maybe even night before for big games. Also it is an easy exit to Stanford and I-10.

My suggesting is figure it out in your own. It took me a few years to find my spot, but that was half the fun. If you get on campus around 7, you'll be able to figure where the good spots are. Just be respectful if someone out there says you're getting too close to their spot lol.

If you're only coming for the big games, then be courteous if someone comes up to you and says that's their usual spot. Offer them the spot back or move over a little. IMO, you should know by 10am at the latest if you're in someone's usual spot because anyone who takes pride in their tailgating spot knows they have to be there early. But even full timers can have delays like flat tires, etc.

If you're coming for the UAB and Kent State games, then you'll know who the full time tailgaters are because these arent the games part timers choose to tailgate for. Again, be courteous.

I would really hope this goes without saying.

I am planning on coming to all of the games, and I know that I will have to earn a good spot, but everyone has to start somewhere right? Just looking for some pointers.

Everyone can rest easy, I am not some dick that is going to rob your honey hole.

honestly, I don't think any of them would be full by 7AM...if you get there that early, you would be fine on all but the earliest games...
