Shreveport Oktoberfest

Any of you Shreveport people going to this? Should be a good time. Lot's of German style food and drink. Got my tickets already. Really excited about it. Was awesome even in the rain last year. The food was amazing, and there was tons of great beers to choose from. Really something cool for Shreveport area folks. Just giving a heads up.

Never been to this, but I've been to Brew a couple of times. Brew is OK and all, but I don't exactly look forward to it. How do the 2 compare?

Been to both, and Oktoberfest is way less crowded and has much, much better food. I enjoyed both, but Oktoberfest was really cool, and not nearly as crowded.

They need to take a page from Nola and have that during the spring or summer. Not on a college football Saturday.

They usually do a good job with lots of TVs and at least 1 giant blow-up screen. I'll be in Oxford this year for the game, so won't be making it to Brew.
