I drafted in a 12 team 1/2ppr league tonight and got presented w/ a unexpected situation. I knew i was drafting 12th so i had been planning on taking Dez and Brandon Marshall w/ my first two picks. Draft starts and all of a sudden i am staring at ray rice and marshawn lynch sitting there. I took them one and two, but it fricked me the rest of the draft and now i am stuck with a somewhat shitty wr situation. What move should i make if any to get a better WR2 or 3 or improve wr depth

Matt Ryan
Ray Rice
Marshawn Lynch
Ammendola
Reggie Wayne
Josh Gordon (suspended first 2 weeks)
Martellus Bennett
Denver D

Bench:
Ryan Matthews
Chris Ivory
Bernard Pierce
Christine Michael
Jeremy Kerly
Kenny Stills
Markus Wheaton
Cordarrelle Patterson
Jacoby Jones
Brian Quick

Yea my bench sucks

Trade Mathews for a wr and you'll be set

Damn how many bench players do yall keep??

You gotta take Rice and Lynch if they are there. And your gonna be ok at WR. If Amendola stays healthy he will be solid. Wayne is great. Gordon is prime for a breakout year. I dont really think your fricked at WR. Stills looks like hes gonna be the 3rd WR for the Saints. And Wheaton could become a player for the Steelers. Youre gonna be fine at WR, depending on Amendolas health. And youre absolutely loaded at RB with Rice and Lynch.

You made the right call taking Rice and Lynch there. Your two main WR are very solid. Is it a start 3 WR league? If so you might need to get one more decent WR via trade, but if it's a flex spot I think you are just fine.

yep we start 3wr 2rb. My draft i did last week i was in the 12th slot and took dez and b marsh and loved how my team came out. When this happened my jaw literally dropped .

Thinking of offering maybe Matthews for Decker (want a piece of that Bronco offense ). Although i think Matthews may bounce back some this year so may be selling somewhat low on him.

My curveball was having Megatron fall to me with the 12th pick in a PPR league..

Yeah, having to start 3 WR shifts things a little bit. Don't really like your backup RB once you move Matthews either though. I don't trust Ivory, I;d probably grab Powell off the wire assuming he's available.

But if you could get Decker for Matthews it's probably worth doing in your setup, though like you I think he looks poised for a nice bounceback season.

So would it suck if spencer ware blew up in a couple weeks? Ryan matthews may have a huge season after showing promise the last few. Just be the first person to pick up the next p garcon\v cruz type guy

That's no curveball, that's a fastball right down the middle. That's a no doubter. Take him and Dez, and laugh all the way to the bank.

Do nothing. You're solid. if you trade off a RB you'll just weaken your depth there. You've got a hand full of lottery ticket WRs on your bench. Hopefully one pops. And if they dont' Gordon should be a very solid WR3 starting in week 3
