I know it's a cliche joke but I seriously can't remember the last time I turned on MTV and they were showing a music video.

Haven't watched MTV or VH1 in years. The shite on there looks beyond awful. And, yeah, whatever happened to the music.

I think that most awards shows are jokes and close to worthless. The MTV awards shows are some of the worst in the business. It's for the type of people who think that TMZ reports important news.

I miss when MTV was airing experimental animation late at night. liquid television. With Shows like "the head", and the original beavis and butthead. Mtv had it right, about up until 1997. By 2000 it was all downhill.
