doubtful. He only avg 40 yds a punt during the preseason. I'm sure teams can find plenty of guys better than him and dont have drug problems

I wonder if she would have jumped on that if he wasn't an LSU player.

Yep. They were together pre-LSU commitment.

Wonder what he'll do for income to support the baby now...

So he left school early to declare for the draft, didn't get drafted, signed as a FA only to later get cut by the Eagles. The lad has made some very poor career choices.

Trev Faulk thinks Wing made a great choice!

Last season he sucked at punting not sure if injured, doped up, or didn't give a shite. His previous season was stellar, long punts great hang time, and drop dead punts inside the 20. Not sure what went wrong, but i don't wish bad things for him. Hopefully this will be a wake up call and he gets his act together and makes changes for the posive in his life. Stranger things have happened.
Too much pride can ruin a career. and there isnt any I in team.

Somebody put together an in depth analysis on The Rant completely disproving your thesis. I was surprised.

It is common for college punters to get cut in the nfl a few times before they stick

Wing will get more chances

This board really sucks sometimes

You're right, nobody could have handled the pressure of being a college football punter. The guy can't be expected to be responsible for his own life. Its got to be someone else's fault.

should have stayed one more year and clean his image up and would have gotten drafted. talent is there for sure. will get picked up by someone sooner rather than later.

Another chapter in LSU's long list of wasted talent

Good job turning this into a JJ vs JL thread

It doesn't take much.

Seriously, I stumbled onto the 2011 Auburn game on YouTube yesterday, and Jefferson got two series in a row and our offense looked terrible. On the second possession, a facemask saved us from a 3rd and 14, and gave us a first down. The student section was chanting "Jarret Lee", and then on 2nd and 8, with 10 defenders within 6 yards of the line of scrimmage, JJ actually threw a good deep ball and Randle scored a td.

If JJ quarterbacked all year, we would not have been us much I formation with play action passes sprinkled in.
