Yeah, and only one team in the SEC last year (Mizzou) had a starting QB with a lower rating than Mett. Oh, and they're pretty much all back this year. So I'll wait for wait happens on the field to get excited. But Chavis is overdue for more O support.

LSU fans are hilarious. They haven't had a QB throw for more than 17 TDs since 2007, but they scoff at Joe Flacco. Love it.

Cam seems pleased with Jennings' play, but I will be scared shitless if we have to go with a true freshman in SEC games.

Last thing LSU needs is to frick up a future decent QB by throwing him in too early.

Trade JJ/Lee in for Flacco and LSU is sitting on 3 BCSNC's the last 4 years.

Just saying.

Not 3 outta 4. It would be 3 straight. We couldn't do shite against Auburn on offense in 2010 and we didn't score a TD through the air in the 8 point loss to Arky.

In 2011, All we needed was some offense because Bama didn't score a TD til under 5 minutes left in the game and was only up 12 pts with 22 seconds leading to the 4th.

In 2012, a QB beats UF and we finish off Clemson early. Miles crazy plays are what stopped us from beating Bama.

Mett did what he needed to do. Miles fricked up and Copeland fricked up, you can deny it, but everybody knows it to be true.

The haters will never give Les any credit for LSU winning one title and making a serious run for two more national titles, instead they claim Les's offense has caused LSU to lose two titles. Well if Cam helps Les deliver a couple titles, Les should get all the credit, since he's been getting all the blame.

I wasn't trying to argue. I wonder why so many are forgiving of Copeland but not of miles?
miles did the wrong thing at al and cl but it would have been right if he did the other thing at the other school, right? passing at al and running at cl instead of running al al and passing at cl. it was a choice and could have worked.

Well, IMO, AJMc is about on par with Mett.

Especially the AJMc that lost "the game of the century".

I hate to admit it, but AJ played lights out last year. He had 30 TDs and only 3 INTs to go with a 68% completion percentage. Now, he did have an all-world line in front of him and some great RBs, but still... At the end of the day, you have to be accurate.

I think Mett could have a really good year though. He does have a great arm and our passing schemes have been pitiful for the last few years. I'm thinking a new coordinator could make a huge difference for him and our offense.

That's what I don't get when people talk about McCarron. You don't just put up 3000 yards and 30TDs in the SEC and be average no matter how good your team is. Mett has the weapons on O and hopefully the OL. If he can't put up 24+ TDs and 3000 yards, something went horribly wrong.
