Looking to buy a gun safe, possibly during the tax free weekend. At least a 24 gun. Where should I start in Baton Rouge? Cabelas?

Crap man, my wife already made plans... Won't be able to help you... I am sure someone else can help you carry it in. Sorry!

I was told from Cabelas and Mike Wards that gun safes didnt qualify for the tax free weekend. I bought a Signature 64 yesterday from Cabelas.

I have a question about gun safes. Is it primarily to protect against theives or fire?

I ask cause I've never really considered having one but I do have a secure feature in my house to protect them from thieves. It's not fire-proof though.

Both, I have probably 50k worth of shite in mine. So the 3500 for the safe was a no brainer for me.

I have a feeling the contents of your safe would be a treat to see. Course a 1911 guy like yourself, that could be just a handfull.

Tractor Supply Cannon. 1K 48 gun safe.

Until you spend the 5K for a real safe, they are all the same. If someone can break into the Cannon, that same person will break into the $2500 Liberty

Yep.

I went cheap and big because I'm mainly locking them up from my kids.

Just added 16ft of LED lights to my safe. Nice. Lights it up real good. No more dark safe.

multi colored double back #m tape with a remote. Bought it for the white color and remote so I do not have to bend over to turn it on.
