Who ends up being a better fantasy player this year in non ppr scoring?

Either of these guys turn into a rock solid keeper type player for next season?

Curious to see the boards thoughts on this

You think Lacy produces behind that line? Genuinely curious. Haven't really looked into either.

Non-ppr is Lacy. PPR is 100% Bernard.

I don't see either as a keeper next year. Bernard never including PPR and Lacy only down the road if GB goes to a rushing offense.

Lacy is a stud with no direct competition. They love him in Green Bay.

in non-ppr.....sure..like michael turner

have cobb and nelson back, LB's chasing Finley around......Lacy runs good, don't worry about him....there will be enough room for him to run through an arm tackle.

Just to play devil's advocate, GB hasn't had a 100 yard rushing performance in what - 3 seasons or so? Their O-Line this year isn't exactly the group you expect to make that a regular occurrence.

That said, I think Lacy will have more rushing yards and TDs than Giovanni Bernard. But Bernard will eclipse Lacy in a PPR league.

You raise legitimate issues.

They really haven't committed to giving any guy the bulk of the carries, either. Rightfully so, because they are all pretty terrible.

James Starks
Alex Green
Kuhn
Brandon Jackson
Ryan Grant

I think Lacy will get 200+ carries.

And people talk about BJGE like he is some terrible player. Yeah, he may not be some fantasy stud but he gets the job done as a real life football player. Blocks, doesn't fumble, decent on the goal line

Gio Bernard gets blown up in pass protection and goes down on first contact. He is fast and shifty, though.

Tough call. I'd go Bernard.

GBs Oline is pretty bad. In such a pass heavy offense I can only assume Lacys touches will be very inconsistent week to week.

When I watch Bernard run, its exciting. He has big play ability.

Bernard is not on the casual fantasy football players radar so he can be drafted a few rounds after Lacy... so if you're thinking possible keeper for one of these guys then Bernard has more value as of right now.

I like Lacy for the goal line carries. GB scores often.

Defenses will stack the box against that weak Oline when Lacy is at the goaline.

Rodgers will audible to a pass.

Non PPR its Lacy. And even with PPR i still think its Lacy. Lacy has no real competition in Green Bay and will have 10+ TDs. That team moves up and down the field at will because of Rodgers. And while hes OL isnt great, teams have to respect Rodgers so much that it will open up the running game. Lacy might only get 15-18 touches a game, but will be productive with those and will get TDs. And Lacy is better in the passing game then people think. Hes not Darren Sproles out there but he can catch the ball and do good things after the catch,

The only reason I dont think its Gio is because of BGE. BGE isnt an animal, but he did rush for over 1,000 yards and had 6 TDs. Hes a solid NFL RB, and will be the goal line / early down RB. BGE will get the TDs. Gio also struggles a good bit in pass blocking. Which hurts him. Frank Gore said every RB in the NFL can run the ball, but its the ones that can pass block that stay on the field. Gio struggles at that. BGE is solid pass blocker. Also, BGE doesnt fumble the football. Which is HUGE. Its def gonna be a time share, which is 1 of the main reasons why I think Lacy is going to have a better year than Gio. Lacy is the clear cut #1 RB on the team. They say Harris is fighting for the spot, but lets be serious here. They are doing that to keep Lacy motivated and not relaxed. But its his spot.

On the other hand, BGE is a legit NFL RB that has rushed over 1,000 yards twice in his career. Gio will get solid PT, but Lacy is the guy in Green Bay.
