Actually, if you look at it, Stud has actually done pretty well with the talent he has had since coming to LSU. We've had massive O-line attrition since 2005 and have had to convert D-lineman like Barksdale and Blackwell into O-lineman were they actually were some of our top O-lineman during their LSU careers, all due to development. The two guys that were supposed to be first rounders both tore their ACL's which killed their draft prospects. It's really been a mix of lack of talent and bad luck with injuries rather than lack of development from Stud as to why we haven't had more highly drafted O-lineman.

All I know is this, I am nervous has hell that would could be the all time greatest recruiting class in LSU history. One that has the potential to bring numerous championships to LSU, might hit some bumps along the way and not be what we are all hoping for. Not a nega-tiger, I am the exact opposite. I just know with the talent we have in this state this year and with Satan's connections that he still have in the state and as well as the Gump's program is running right now. I am nervous as hell.

I'm concerned as well, but there's nothing we can do. We just have to trust that the staff will get it done and I do.

I could not agree more.
And watch our oline this year. I believe it will be the best group we have had for over a decade. If they gel, we will have a great year, and I think they will...

We all need to get our head out of our asses. If a Louisiana kid has any legitimate interest in our most hated rival Alabama, then I seriously don't want him at LSU. Its impossible to be both and LSU fan and an Alabama fan. You are either passionate about your home state or home school or get the hell out. Some of these kids think that the grass is greener on the other side, and it's not. As far as chances at the NFL, LSU has put more kids in the NFL than anyone else in past 10 years, so how do some of you say that a player would have a better chance at another school. NFL scouts and GMS know that LSU produces freaks and in all honesty I believe LSU players sometime get more hype than deserved in the draft. And to top it off, these kids should recognize that if they play for their home school, they will be a legend in their hometowns and across the state and would be set for life after football. If anyone is really considering BAMA, please go!

I kinda get where you are coming from,because if I was a recruit(I'm in high school and from New Orleans)I promise BAMA wouldn't be on my interest list at ALL.But at the same time,who are we to tell the guys where they should go and where they shouldn't go...That's just the way it is.

This is a LSU recruiting board where we love our LSU football.
Coming here and promoting Bama for any reason is not why I come here.
If people want to praise Bama then go to BOL.
Bama has had basically a pick of what they wanted over the last several years and it shows.
Some recruits have pride in their state and it's flagship program.
The LSU bashing by it's own fans over the last few years has done it no good.
One of my buddies yesterday was bashing Miles and the program, I told him to buy Bama gear and then when the next team starts dominating, buy their gear. I'll stick with the Purple and Gold.
I dont care about Bama or their success.
I care about LSU and come here to read good things about this program, not theirs.
They were the kicking dogs not all that long ago, things change, I am here for that change and for those who never give up on this team.
If I wanted to read pro Bama crap I would go to BOL, this isn't BOL.
