I know we have offered him and were not in his top three but we are in his top five. Just watched him on espn 2 his team Norcross vs Booker T Washington. Norcross just lost 55-0 Lorenzo Carter is overrated in my opinion he got his arse whipped all night long literally it was really ridiculous to watch.

Totally agree he was man handled. Wonder what his competition is like besides nationally?

The killing part about it is that Chad Thomas was dying for an LSU offer all year and openly stated that LSU was his top school until July. I still think Carter has more upside but we should have worked harder on Thomas.

I agree with you 100% we should've offered him. Chad Thomas lived up to his hype definitely not Lorenzo Carter. L carter may have some upside but not at Def end maybe at LB In my opinion

Watched bits and pieces. He didn't do much at all. I'm sure he'll end up at BAMA and those guys will be here to justify him being beaten all game.

He better dominate against teams that aren't as talented. But the. Again, he wasn't double teamed at all when I was watching. He was just getting flat out beat by BTWs LT.

Really can't judge off of 1 game, plus his ranking has a lot to do with his potential due to his frame and athletic ability..4.5 forty and 40" vert.

LSU's interest in Chad Thomas really is puzzling because it seems like he had genuine interest in LSU. He dominated at every camp he went to and even embarrassed our guy Brumfield at the Under Armour underclassmen camp. His versatility to play 3 technique like GW III and Godchaux is also an added bonus.

I think his lack of size was an issue early on, but he seems to have solved that problem. He's also playing a lot meaner than last year. We may try to get back in on him late, but right now it seems that Brick is still trying to work on Thornton.

Actually there's a thread on the Bama board about it and you couldn't be more wrong. There's a kid committed to Auburn or an Auburn lean that they are more interested in. Rashan Evans I think his name is.

I think this is him

quote:

Booker T.’s offensive line also stepped up and neutralized Norcross’s vaunted defense that was led by highly recruited defensive end Lorenzo Carter. Senior Jordan Ingraham matched up with Carter and did not allow him a sack. Booker T.’s defense did a lot more damage.

He played very well vs Carter and he'll earn more looks. Probably at guard or center because he's 6'2 315lbs

I thought it was interesting how Booker T. Ingraham flip from LT to RT to follow Carter. That is hard to do.
