Lonesome Dove had a fire last week, no-go for the next few weeks; they contacted us to cancel our Friday night reservations.

That really sucks. That place has the best exotic type foods in town. Terrible timing.

Also if people are looking for a kinda unknown local place, Bonnells is a very good spot. Also for people wanting a fine dining experience, Del friscos is also a go to spot.

As mentioned, Bonnells is excellent food, lots of game, but its pricey.

Don't bother going to Joe T's unless you just want to get wasted on the Rita's.

Coopers BBQ is excellent.

Bar wise I'd go to Capital is I was 25 and younger, lots of fine TCU women in there.

Sundance square for 25+.

Like I said in the OP, you don't really go to Joe Ts for the food, its the outside patio and atmosphere

Sundance is really nice, but its not where the tcu kids will be. See above for the capital bar, place will be swarming.

Thanks for the guide. Went to the Flying Saucer and ducked into Razoo's next to it for a drink on the way back to the Omni. Manager is nice and the drinks are cold and priced well, so I thought I'd add this as an option. Headed to Billy Bob's later.

Yeah, I've been to that one a time or two, but I didn't want to add a Cajun place. Doesn't really compare to Louisiana

Would prob be a bad idea for food and not for the best of guide you did. I was thinking for another stop for the Flying Saucer crowd. Will also add Houston St. Bar. Felt a wave of fuzzy memories from night before Oregon .

Billy Bobs is $12 for the show at 10:30. House band is alright. Not many people yet.

Frankie's is very nice and has lots of tense A&M fans at the moment.
