Peterson tied for the lead. Loupe a few back. Loupe just hit a 340 yard drive into the wind.

Peterson just drained a long birdie putt on 15. What a clutch putt to maintain a tie for 1st. Him and this Bettencourt guy are going at it.

Both guys played at Lsu but are done. Both need a win to ensure a top 25 finish but both will stay top 75 to have a chance to get PGA card

Yes, that Andrew Loupe but he doesn't play for LSU. anymore. He is on the web.com tour. Which is the feeder tour for the PGA Tour these days.

A Peterson win would get him a PGA Tour card for next year. He'll be close to winning his tour card with a second or third.

Yep, but if they miss out this week they can still qualify for their big league card in the web.com playoffs the next 4 weeks. As long as they are top 75 in the regular season they will play in the playoffs. The top 25 from playoffs get their PGA card also.

Loupe needs a good day tomorrow to make the top 75 and qualify for the web.com playoffs. He's outside of that number by a few spots right now. I've doesn't go backwards tomorrow, he'll finish good enough to at least give himself another chance at the Tour card.

Loupe can be so good at times but he missed the cut In almost half of his tournaments. Once he gets more consistent, he will be very good
