No such thing as practicing indoors when I was there. My last two years we were fortunate to be able to rehearse in the indoor facility on game days.

You miss it until you realize you can sleep as late as you want on Saturday and go have fun tailgating. Pregame is about the only time you'll miss being with em IMO

I enjoyed reading that. I did TB a long time ago (84-88) and not much has changed. For those who have not had the experience, it is a brutal week but well worth it. I was a staff member for three years and being involved in the teaching/leadership was just a great experience.

I cannot wait to see the LSU band live in Dallas. The men and women in the band work so hard, and I know everyone appreciates what they do.

In our first year at LSU, a friend of mine busted his arse all summer and fall to fulfill his band obligations.
Funny part is, he never made it to the field. He sat on the bench in the stands with the rest of the alternates.
All work and no reward.
