When you hear "Who is LSU's rival?"

What's the first team that comes to mind?
For me it's Ole Miss... I don't know why. I know most will say Bama. I think aTm is shaping up to be our rival in the near future.

I feel like, depending on who is up or down, all of our rivalries are pretty cyclical -- Except for Ole Miss. If I had to single out one team that has always been and always will be a rival of ours, it's gotta be Ole Miss.

We don't have one, and that's one thing I miss about LSU football. It used to be Tulane and Ole Miss back in the 60's, but those faded.
Clearly the annual Bama, Auburn, and UF games are very important, and A&M is now getting like that, but those aren't true "rivalry" games that go back generations with a deep emotional component. It's one of the drawbacks of being the dominant D-1 team in our state - there's no natural in-state rival.

LSU does not have a rival. It's a shame because it's one of the better parts of college football.
aTm used to be... we'll see if they're still a legitimate team after the Manziel show is over, and there's hope for that.
Otherwise, obvious answer is Bama, though there's no historical significance there, really. But when you consider the Saban angle and the fact that ONE of us was going to win a NC each of the last two years had the other not eliminated them.

I hate Ole Miss.
I hate everything about Ole Miss.
They can Geaux to Hell.
Their tent city in the Grove can Geaux to Hell too.
Maybe they can hang their 2003 Co-SEC West Champs banner in Hell, too.

Bama or aTm. I think aTm wins that sole rival title within the next 3 years.

I don't know why so many people want to ignore Ole Miss. It's actually been a competitive match up, and they won some years they shouldn't have. they just haven't been nationally relevant for some time. I think if you asked most of their fans who was a bigger rival, they'd say LSU before MSU. MSU is the team o one wants to lose to. Ole Miss/ LSU is the team you want to beat.

I like Ole Miss.
I respect the Tulane tradition.
The revitalized aTm rivalry is pretty fun.
I fricking hate Alabama.

Florida and Bama for me.
I think LSU's "rivals" vary based on age around here.

A&M and their stupid Thanksgiving game can go frick themselves.
Bama is on the decline so I don't really give a frick about them.

After sitting among many of their fans last year, it is Ole Miss. I despise but respect the bama team, crooked as it may be. But the a-holes from Oxford are the fricking worse, hate those guys now.
